Procedure

 

Introduction/Attention Grabber:

Students will be instructed to begin work within there groups.

Lecture/Demonstration:

This is the first day the students will begin the designing of their paper car, and print media displays.  The students will be made aware that the planning of there projects will be just as important as their final project.

There is no formal class lecture, though individual groups will meet with the teacher throughout the day.

 

Key Points:

The material request form will be due by the end of the day.  All additional materials that are needed by the groups for the print media and the car show will need to be placed on that list.

Activity:

Students will begin working on there projects.  The chief designer and the chief mechanic will begin development of there paper car plans.  The car show coordinator and the director of advertising will begin there advertising campaign.

Closing:

The class will have fifteen minutes for cleanup, and to write their daily journal entries.

 

Assessment:

To be filled by instructor after lesson has been given.  Used to reflect on the days lesson.

 

Homework:

Students will continue work on there career info.
